                               RESOLUTION NO. 19306
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF NORTH HICKORY
                   STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN,
                   ON SATURDAY, JULY 25, 1992, FOR THE PURPOSE
                   OF CONDUCTING THE "NORTH HICKORY STREET AND
                   FRIENDS REUNION" SPONSORED BY JAMES HUGHES,
                   UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of North Hickory Street between Vine Street and 

       5th Street on Saturday, July 25, 1992, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 
p.m.
       for the purpose of conducting the "North Hickory Street and
       Friends Reunion" under the sponsorship of James Hughes provided
       that the sponsor shall set out and pick up barricades and traffic 

       signs in accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto 

       and shall provide at all times an access lane for emergency and
       residential vehicles.  The Auxiliary Police shall assist the
       Chattanooga Police Department in providing traffic control.
